Peru- PUNO on Sunday 31July

So we went to the Pre Incan ruins on Sunday. I was sad that I didn't have a butter knife with me to steal all the crust lichens.

Saturday we went to the farm in PUNO. IT took 8 hours. There are more photos from Kaies camera hopefully we can upload soon.

The first is a lady a with a drop spindle the rest is nice scenery some where there are flamingos and vicuna.

Fridays Photo shoot was at the Monastery. It was also nice.

It was the start of the Independence day weekend so there was this little nun.

Peru-Photoshoot DAY 1 Thursday 29th July

So Thursday we started the photo shoot at the founders mansion. Talk about great and so was the photographer. I made ties for a sweater, and played with the alpacas that tried to spit… It was a great day.

Peru-Last day of workshop and Peruvian horses 25th July

Well the last day of the workshop was fun. We had a contest for the best original design. Then we went horse back riding it was fun and I want to talk more but three more post and Puno tomorrow so fill in later..

This was the last day of the workshop. This is also a picture of Randi with one of the knitters Ingrid with her intarsia sweater.

Peru-What a weekend! 21 July

OK, Well the weekend was crazy with me cussing out the sock Friday Night. the workshop on Friday had Anahi trying on this set.

Saturday was reunion, in which 12 hours of scotch drinking ensued followed by karaoke, and discotech.

Needless to say my hangover was bad yesterday. I went for more Bunuelos, and stuff.

Today we are progressing along with the workshop. Jay ( Katie’s Fiancée) is getting ready to leave tonight.

Lisa just arrived so it a menagerie of people coming and going.

Peru-Baby sweater 18th july

Well,
I had to take out my baby sweater three time in the course of yesterday. It went well at the workshop. Then yesterday I started to rework the collar on one of the sweaters for the photos shoot.
