The Day after

So Don’t ask me why but after like 5 hours I had to wake up. I woke up with a sprained swollen ankle. I don’t know how. It was fine when I went to bed and no I didn’t hit it. So I spent a lot of the day with ice on it. Then I went with mom to her Spanish class.

So here are all my goodies

My Aunt sent me a hat she made and some tea cups

My mom Also made me dinner, Duck.

Roast Duck Food

Things I learned

1) Don't Assume anything about airlines, or the weather.
2) Not Knitting on a Plane because of Security REALLY Sucks.
3)Giardia SUCKS ( you can't fix all with Imodium)
4) You can never bring back too much Tea or Yarn ( the health risks of lugging two checked and two carry ons through multiple immigration are worth it)
5) Your country is your Country and no matter what happens in your life, nothing is like coming home.
6)Know someone with a good scale when moving yarn.
7) Inner peace is important and knowing how to maintain your temper (This is true of traveling with no paper book and no knitting).
8)Always Ask if your in front of the emergency Exit row, no matter how much you think you can tolerate, you can't.
9)You can sprain your ankle while sleeping.
10) The smell of cooking panettone can really make you estatic.
